Boy's Team

Swim Coach: Lindsy Paurus

Dive Coach: Jordan R.

Assistant Coach: Zach C.

Below are some helpful links for the beginning of the swim season!

Any link in this section takes you to a place to sign up and pay for being in swimming this year.

Please read the page that you land on  and follow the 5 steps carefully. If you have never participated in Princeton HS Athletics of any kind (7th graders and recent move-ins) and you don't have a login, click on "I don't have an account" on the right in blue. Otherwise, write down this login information for future seasons and all other Princeton sports! (This is the place for Middle School registration because you will be on the HS team.)

So this is swimming?

This is how a season is supposed to go:

  • Boy's season typically starts in late November every year.

  • Parent meetings are held the last week of October or the first week of November. Use our calendar for specifics or the chat feature for questions.

  • Captain's practice is an optional set of practices lead by the captains and falls on the two weeks prior to the start of the regular season.

  • Boys can join swimming at any time during the season! You do not HAVE to make the meetings and Captains Practices to be on the team!

  • Swimming is a fantastic cardio workout and it is a lot of hard work. The benefits of a team working together in the refining fire of regimented workouts leaves a mark on your life you will carry with you.

Off Season Note

You have four options for the off-season. Whatever you choose to do --and-- whenever you choose to do it,

BE CONSISTENT!

  1. Join another sport

  2. Lift weights (entering 9th grade and up)

  3. Work out at home

  4. Join a club swim team or Tiger Sharks

What you do 3 or 4 months right before season will have the most impact on your 2023-24 season.

Don't go it alone!

ACCOUNTABILITY -- Looks like: committing to bring someone with you to "Iron Works" or

Send a quick text to see if they did dryland that day too.

1) Motivates you on hard days

2) Builds friendships and comradary

3) Encourages another teammate (or two or three) to actually do something in the off-season!
